These materials are intended for use by undergraduate or graduate accounting faculty who are looking to demonstrate how Alteryx can be used to perform data pre-processing or data transformative tasks. Some prior knowledge of Alteryx would be helpful to complete this case but is not required.

This case study is designed to demonstrate how Alteryx can effectively pre-process and transform data for further analysis in the context of an accounting scenario. The assignment will allow students to demonstrate their data acumen, critical thinking skills, and professional judgement to evaluate the output of their Alteryx routine, including its completeness and accuracy. In addition, students will have the ability to document their workflow and exercise leading practices when communicating with your engagement team.
